Realme GT 8 Pro & Dream Edition Launched: 200MP Camera, 7000mAh Battery
Realme GT 8 Pro and GT 8 Pro Dream Edition launch in India with 200MP Ricoh GR Camera, 2K 144Hz display, 7000mAh battery, and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Realme has made an official announcement about its latest flagship smartphones, the realme GT 8 Pro and GT 8 Pro Dream Edition, that had their first sale on Tuesday through realme.com, Flipkart, and selected retail outlets across the country.
The GT 8 Pro, with the processor attributes of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a Hyper Vision+ AI processor, is the top dog. The hardware is claimed by realme to be geared up for a professional gaming experience at the usual high quality of graphics without lagging, through the application of AI upscaling, high-efficiency frame generation, and stable thermal management.
The smartphone, alongside this, boasts a 2K HyperGlow display with 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness setting of 7,000 nits. Its audio and vibration sensations are all drawn from the symmetric master acoustic speaker system and advanced vibration motors. The device's heat management is very efficient thanks to the 7K ultimate VC cooling system, which makes it possible for the phone to keep performing well even when it is being heavily used.
Among others, the new GT 8 Pro brings for the first time to mobile phones the Ricoh GR Camera System. The modular setup comes with 28mm and 40mm modifiable lenses, GR film-inspired color profiles, Snap Focus, and a 200MP sensor for telephoto shooting.
Realme’s promise is that the device lasts for more than 20 hours of video playback or eight hours of continuous gaming, thanks to its 7,000 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging capability.
One of the most attractive features is the first-ever interchangeability of camera bump that lets the user have a circular, square or themed camera module depending on their mood. The device comes in two color variants.
The GT 8 Pro Dream Edition is a product of collaboration with the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team. It has a bodypaint of racing green, and accents of lime-green tint, and an F1-inspired custom UI. This limited edition, too, was available from Nov. 25 onwards.
The cost for the GT 8 Pro (12GB+256GB) is Rs 72,999, and the Dream Edition (16GB+512GB) is available for Rs 79,999. To reduce the effective price of the purchase, bank offers and platform-specific discounts are provided.
